Orquestra Pacifico Tropical is comprised of 10 homies who get together to share their boundless love and respect for the genre of Cumbia and what that means to them, living in the city of Portland, Oregon. Reconstructing & reimagining those gorgeous archaic jungle rhythms that span from México to Peru and to Colombia, the ensemble brings an onslaught to any stage across the nation with their own reinterpretation of this magnificent sound.

Every Tuesday 10PM-Midnight (PST) on KBOO.FM (90.7 FM PORTLAND)  Anjali and The Kid began hosting Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Kush in January of 2006. The Incredible Kid became a solo host in 2018.

Anjali and The Kid present International classics & unknown pop gems from their vintage vinyl & CD collections. With a focus on retro Bollywood & the Latino diaspora, you can also expect to hear Panjabi folk, Qawwali, and South Asian filmi like Lollywood, Tollywood & Kollywood. They have hosted Chor Bazaar since XRAY’s inception in 2014.
