he Hult Center is turning 40 and we want to celebrate with you! Join us on Saturday, August 27 from 11 am to 2 pm for a day of free activities, including musical performances, live poster printing and more!
Schedule of Events:
11:00 AM: Performance by DJ Anjali and the Incredible Kid
12:00 PM: Performance by Redray Frazier
1:00 PM: Performance by Ratie D
Plus more activities that will occur throughout the event (listed below)!
The day will include:
- Live poster printing by Threadbare
- Fun Activation Tables featuring our Resident Companies and a Hult Center 40th Prizes Table
- Tours of the Hult Center
- Viewing of our Hult Center 40th Anniversary documentary “Within These Walls” (Runtime of 25 minutes)
- Exciting giveaways including opportunities to win tickets to upcoming shows including HAMILTON, Randy Rainbow, the Hult Presents 10×10 Series, and many more!
11:00 AM: DJ Anjali and the Incredible Kid
Anjali & The Kid will present an all ages Desi dance party with their dholi Adam McCollom. Known for playing a range of Global Bass sounds in the club, the duo also enjoy sharing a more focused set of Bhangra (Panjabi Folk) & Bollywood. Bring the family and expect to learn some South Asian dance moves from Anjali & her Gulabi Gang dancers.
