Daniela Karina channels underground diasporic club from around the world to share her vision of a polyrhythmic Pangaea with the dance floor, finding inspiration in emerging transcultural sounds and reinvented ancestral rhythms. She can be found bringing the fringes of global dance to the Pacific Northwest as a resident at Club Culo and Club Tropicana. As a facilitator at S1 and member of No Control Crew, she is dedicated to increasing the visibility of women and nonbinary folks in electronic music—through skill-sharing, equipment shares and creating opportunities via hosted workshops, lectures and curated events.
